Well people, what say you?

"Have you ever noticed how statists are constantly "  reforming"   their own handiwork? Education reform. Health-care reform. Welfare reform. Tax reform. The very fact that they're always busy "  reforming"   is an implicit admission that they didn't get it right the first 50 times."
Lawrence W. Reed, economist, in The Freeman
How many times have the Lib/Lab/Con (all statists although some use L'Oreal, some use Boots No7, but all believe in Ponds(i) schemes full of wind) 'tinkered' - or tried to/wished they could 'tinker' - with the NHS, Education, Policing, Defence, Welfare, Immigration, Tax, Housing or Transport?
Time, methinks, for a change from the tired, same, old parties?

Just thinking.............................

And how come things never change for the better? (For us, that is)

It is Lobby Politics. Interest Groups buy influence in opposition and push their agendas for filching from taxpayers.

It is all about the Spoils System. Britain has returned to the 18th Century.

Come on WfW, how else are the 654 W*nk*rs in Westminster supposed to justify their existence if they aren't constantly changing something for the Civil SErvants to justify their existence by screwing up?

BJ: Medthinks TT and TGM have answered that!

TT & TGM: Agree with both of you, but whjat the politicos do still doesnt make the meddling aspect right.

Another point is that when they do, we never get told the detail before hand - just bland statements of intent.

I agree. I can't see AV changing anything either.
