Harry Wallop, Consumer Affairs Editor Daily Telegraph, writes on the announcement of the above post - one that he reports caused some hilarity on the internet (see his article).
Knowing how much the Coalition's stated aim to reduce costs is important to them, could they not have "done a McCarthy" and appointed one of their own under-qualified, similarly lack-lustre, back-benchers to fill this role?
