Courtesy of UKK41 I find that we are lucky to have a "Shadow European Council" who met for the first time at the end of last month.
On the basis that a "Shadow European Council" should, in theory, be an opposition; conversely that it was formed by the Spinelli Group who believe that there should immediately be implemented a "Federal Act for economic convergence and governance in the EU"; it is immediately obvious that opposition to the EU Commission, there ain't and won't be.
Yet another example of a faux 'showcase' for a faux 'democracy'!

In one fatuous arrogant move by the Spinelli Group a large corporation - to found a "Shadow European Council" we see the true corporatist fascist face of the EU. Other examples are the Bertelsmann Group which help to run Councils in England and the Electoral Reform Society which counts votes in the UK but is in fact owned by a business which sells election products.
