As it is April 1st......

A round-up of stories that may, or may not, be true......

Tom Utley in the Mail wonders what his sexuality has to do with speed-bumps.

The result of the dumbing down of our education system - or maybe not, as the print edition continues:

"David Cameron was caught off-guard at No10 when a 12-year-old boy from Ipswich asked him why Mrs. Hill earned £79,000 more than he did during a question and answer session. The Prime Minister replied "  Because she works harder than me". He refused to respond when he was asked: "  Don't you work hard then?"

Flora Lopi, a Labour party official, believes there is a more important wedding than that taking place on April 29th.

The Coalition have issued a calendar so that you can keep up-to-date with who is who in the political world.

Which kinda sums up the "state" we, as a country, are in...............

A fine crop of April Fool stories today.

Might it be a sign that we are reviving the wartime spirit and learning once more to laugh in the face of almost ievitable destruction.
