Education, Education, Education

Courtesy of The Albion Alliance Presents we see this from our masters in Brussels.

It seems nation states are unable, left to their own resources, to design and implement quality education and child care and have asked the EU for 'guidance'. Of course, this will be available for all migrant children and 'socially excluded groups' like the Roma.

I don't know about anyone else, but I find the picture especially 'chilling' in content and 'message'!

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. My wife works in a pre-school and has for previous courses had to study government legislation. I have shown her this so she at least now knows that the EU will be deciding policy in the not too distant future. My wife is not happy about the changes currently going through for pre-schools to look after children for the majority of the day. After reading just a few lines, it is obvious that the EU doesn't want parents to bring up children. This is what is happening. Many pre-school teachers are parents themselves who choose this work because it fits with their own childrens schooling. If they are required to work beyond 3pm, this will not be possible.

S: Seems to me that home education will be on the increase!

When I had a friend posted to Germany with his family for a few years, he wanted his children to go to the local school and learn the language.
The head made it clear that all teaching was in German, they had no facilities to help non-German speakers, that the children were welcome at the school, but would probably be better off elsewhere. A conversation conducted by the head in perfect English!
We should adopt the same attitude. It is not our duty to teach foreigners to speak English, or provide teachers speaking other languages.

EP: But then our politicians and pc brigade never do logic, which from what you say the Germans have in abundance.

Your second point is well made - it is not the job of our schools to teach foreigners how to speak our language.

Nice to know our education policy is being transfered to Brussels. Where are the Tories with their "in Europe but not run by Europe"?

"it is not the job of our schools to teach foreigners how to speak our language."
Nor is it the job of our councils to produce multi-lingual info packs or arrange interpreters, or of the NHS to have Polish information channels on their closed circuit TVs or of councils to put up Polish language road signs (Crewe did just that).
When buying a house in France we were warned by the Notaire (in perfect English of course)that we should nevertheless have our own interpreter as he had a legal duty to ensure that we understood absolutely everything and his translation might not be legally binding should there ever be a dispute.

S: The minute Lisbon was ratified, just about every area of policy was handed to Brussels - Go read the beginning of the TFEU
