Another one for the 'lamp post' list!

Julian Glover of the Guardian!

So the 'bus-pass' bill for free OAP travel is £1billion? So what?

Perhaps Glover should remember:

(a) The vast amount of public money that is used to keep quangos 'afloat'
(b) The vast amount of public money that is used to keep 'fake charities' afloat
(c) The vast amount of public money that is used to keep MPs afloat
(d) The vast amount of public money that is used to keep equality/diversity local authority employees afloat
(e) The vast amount of public money that is used to fund SPADS for Ministers - why do they need SPADS? If they don't know their 'field' of responsibility, how come they got the job in the first place?
(f) The vast amount of public money spent funding the political take-over of our nation by the EU
(g) The vast amount of public money spent purchasing newspapers in order that journalists idiots can be paid to write drivel
(h) That one day he too will be an OAP - providing he escapes the title of this post!
