A challenge - to all and sundry, including our political elite

Can anyone, especially Cameron, Clegg and MiliE, name one aspect of our daily life that is not subject to, or could be subject to, legislation from our Masters in Brussels?

Off you go........................

During the leadership election debates last year Fox News ran a report on the topics covered during the debates. There was much mirth in the studio audience as they witnessed Cameron and Brown arguing about the retention of bus passes for pensioners. Surely, opined the presenter, statesmen debating their country's future could find something more important to argue about.
Of course, the sad fact is that the EU controls so much that all our leaders are left to argue over are such trivialities.

WFW: "daily life that is not subject to, or could be subject to, legislation from our Masters in Brussels?"

The 'red lines' will protect us.

Is there a time limit to the challenge?

How about sex within marriage?

Is there a cap(Oops)on it?

Er....well I guess the issuing of free bus passes isn't (yet) an EU competence.

Sorry WfW, forgot you had added in your question "or could be subject to". No doubt the EU will take responsibility for free bus passes for all EU senior citizens in the future.

k: Although the EU has yet to step in, the issuing of free bus passes does mean that one section of society is being favoured over all others - and that is in contravention of the EU rules of equal treatment for all where benefits are concerned. Just hang on a mo and I am sure they will step in and stop it.
