Double Dutch

David Cameron, according to a report on Politics Home (apologies, can't link directly to the FT as I have 'exhausted' my 'freebie access'), 'promises':
"Our ambition is to build a new and better economy – where opportunity, wealth and work are spread more widely; where those who work hard and play by the rules get a good deal. There will be no short-cuts to success. But this coalition has the determination to do the right thing for our country, so that we don’t just weather the international storm – but come out stronger on the other side."
That he cannot built a new and better economy as he will not have 100% control of that economy in view of the forthcoming EU plans for economic governance and that due to our EU membership and accompanying 'constraints' those who play be the rules do not get a better deal shows that this is more 'Cameron hogwash'. That if the Conservative Party did have the determination to do the right thing for our country we would not still be encumbered with EU membership illustrates yet again that Cameron is a fraud.

If further proof of the accusation of fraud were needed, one just has to look at the phrase "where opportunity, wealth and work are spread more widely", a phrase that is pure socialism in content. Now we finally have confirmation why the sobriquet "Red Con" was orginally applied to his brand of 'Conservatism'!

Just saying..................

David Cameron is a mouth and nothing more. Britain is a country fed on lies since 1945 and nourished on easy credit since 1972.

It is frankly a joke and the British are regarded as spivs in most of the world; in recent years it has even elected spivs to represent it itself to the world

On and on he mumbles, the rhetoric gets blander and more unfocused, the poor greenslime is losing it and in big style.
How he can dishonestly spew this regurgitated mush [he himself can't believe it surely?] is exposing his two dimensional grasp of reality.
It is plain to see, the EU is a declining trading bloc, the GDP of the Union has declined steadily in the last decades. By affixing ourselves to this doomed leviathan is assuredly sending us down to Davy Jones's locker with the lump of this diseased EU-crew.

Very good post wfW

It is interesting to try and penetrate the mindset of Cameron and his europhile pals. Surely they cannot be SO thick as not to understand that the Euro/EU is a hopelessly lost cause? So why involve the UK any further? One would have thought that the prospelct of an electoral landslide victory by declaring an unambiguous "We are leaving pronto" would be enormous.
Why are they such mental retards when everyone else can see the EU for what it is - our own resident EUSSR?
Must be a combination of many factors which continue to blind them to reality.
Perhaps the "Yes Prime Minister" factor of 95% sycophants surrounding the deluded guy could account for it.
I also think that a high degree of pure arrogance on his part accounts for much. (the grins on all their mugs - Sarky, Merkel, Cameron, and Bosso all tell a story during the recent 'summit')
But to say that he does not really know what he is doing ?.......
No, no, no.
