Crackdowns

We must have all noted by now that when governments wish to divert the public's attention from more pressing matters - or when they have screwed up on a certain subject - they announce a 'crackdown'.

Cameron is having a crackdown on immigration from outside the EU; we learn from the Mail tomorrow there is to be a crackdown on internet sleeze; this year we have had crackdowns on drink and drug driving, internet piracy, special needs, the misuse of disabled parking bays, hooligans and student visas.

The one thing we never see is a crackdown on useless and incompetent politicians.

Odd that...............................

Maybe when the problem's too big to ignore, the currencies and banks begin crashing and EU is going kaput, then the politicians will go back to blaming one another and pointing the finger across national boundaries, thus international war can replace the internal crackdowns which they point the fingers at nowadays, while awaiting armagadeon to take over.

It comes under the law of one law for them and another for us.

WfW, you are quite right. I'm getting sick to my back teeth with stories in the papers about Cameron and what he's going to do or what he thinks about something.
Cue Henry II; 'Will no-one rid me....'

Signs that the type of alien government we have in this country is on the verge of extinction.

Every day clues like this are coming out which suggest that Dave's handlers have walked away and he is having to rely on himself and his cabal of 'advisors'.

Catastrophic change of the sort that is required to cleanse our islands always comes from without.
There are many potential catastrophes without these islands that will do the job with ruthless efficiency.
And there are the people themselves. There is definitely a change of mood amongst the people in my circle. Even those who don't believe in 'getting noticed' are now querying why everything is becoming more and more expensive and more and more restricted.

2012 is shaping up to be a year of catastrophic change. To the Mayans 2012 was the end of manufactured lack. Obviously they were onto something!

Actually Cameron announces a crackdown - no doubt on Coptic Christians fleeing Muslim Violence in Egypt and Syria if that falls to Sunni Extremists.

Having told Malawi that Poverty is not a justification for Foreign Aid if it does not look after homosexuals, one could not expect Cameron to withhold aid from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Egypt, Libya etc if they continue to persecute and murder Christians

Blasphemy Laws in England are changed but Pakistan uses it to execute transgressors and gets love bombs from London in the form of hard cash mysteriously being siphoned off from English households !

Bill: You may well be right about 2012.

TT: This his principles are awry, twisted etc is well illustrated by your comment.
