How big?

On the basis that we all tend to use our hands to augment what we are saying, I have to ask just what it is Barroso is attempting to describe the size of in the following picture:

It can't be the size of his mouth, nor that of Van Rompuy, Ashton, Cameron, Clegg, MilibandE, Merkel or Sarkozy, nor can it be the eurozone debt - his fingers are not far enough apart.

So, just what was Barroso describing?

Just asking.........

The standard size of a noose?

It could be the gap between the EU and reality? Probably not big enough for that either.

Ah, a better idea.

"We're this close to the edge and getting closer."

OK - if the obvious rude answers are verboten - then maybe its Sarkozy's length when laying down without his platform shoes.

"When Prescott worked here he said it was this big"

"Is that why you're trying not to laugh?"

If I stand like this for a few hours with a skein of wool, how many yarns do you think we can spin.

Barroso;
"Even if the eye of the needle were this big, then, we still wouldn't be able to enter!"

In 2012 when we send the member states their monthly bill, we want to put 'this many' zeros on the end of it.
