The sooner we all stand up and say.......

...... I am FOIA, the better!

Have we not had enough of lies and obfuscation? Have we not had enough of 'democratised dictatorship'? Have we not had enough of being told how to think, act and speak? Have we not had enough of having part of our hard-earned income forcibly taken by politicians and spent as they wish, without our agreement? Have we not had enough of paying for half-arsed schemes like wind energy? Have we not had enough of our right to self-governance being handed to another without our agreement? Have we not had enough of being forced to pay for wars, the participation in which we may not agree? Have we not had enough of the present form of 'democracy' under which we are forced to live because the present political elite will not discuss any other form in order to perpetuate their own existence, lifestyle and control over us?

Have we not had enough? Is it not about time we, the people, stood up and said: "I am FOIA" where 'government', per se, is concerned/

Just what does it take to get you, the people, interested in what is being done to you and what is happening around you?

Just asking.................

H/T: An Englishman's Castle for bringing the video to my notice.

Okay I am going to have to ask,

FOIA?

What is it?

Saot: FOIA is actually the Freedom of Information Act - in the context of the video and the post it is everything that is wrong with our politics, our democracy and it has to stop. It needs we, the people, to stand up collectively and tell them enough is enough?

Understand now?

SAOT,

FOIA is the internet name used by the person(s) who released the second instalment of emails from the Climate Research Unit at the University of East Anglia.

The CRU had been resisting Freedom of Information Act requests by people wishing to examine their data and methods e.g. Steve Mcintyre, for some time.

Recently, police visited the home of Roger Tattersall who blogs as Tallbloke and removed several computers.

The story is easily traced with a little work on Google.

The question is why there's so much official interest in tracking this FOIA. It certainly looks like an abuse of process and leaning on people with inconvenient views.

c: thanks for that information of which I was not aware - however it does not alter the point I was trying to make, that we the people need to stand up and say enough is enough, no more!

WfW,

I'm a bit surprised you didn't know that because the work of the CRU forms a part of the claimed scientific basis for Catastrophic Anthropogenic Global Warming.

CAGW is the reason used to justify many of the things about which we are helpless as all three parties are in complete agreement. Windpower, ETS, premature closure of coal fired power stations, rising energy bills, Compact Fluorescent Lamps. Basically huge economic and societal changes, with huge scams we are paying for, much of it being done by stealth, e.g. Feed In Tarriffs and subsidies for solar power.

There is of course an EU angle and a UN angle.

I'd say it was very much in line with the point you were making.

It is with great regret but my twopenny's worth is we have to get down to the levels of Greece before people say enough is enough.
These troughers are not going to stop.
Most of the sheeple are totally unaware of how grave the economic situation actually is.
It is not a coming depression I fear it is a complete collapse of the whole financial system.
When?
Soon maybe less than a year.

I fear you are right. The Slog has been tracking er, what we might call, "events" over on the dark side for a few weeks now. Worth a look!

This had not occured to me before, but structurally, the current account deficit is about to get way, way worse, even assuming there were any "cuts" to speak of (and let's be honest, spending and thus debt is increasing).

Here's the rub. National insurance is still positive, paying less pension that it provides in income, but in a few short years time when this turns around as boomers retire, the annual deficit explodes to levels unseen and unsustainable.

And then watch inflation as the clowns reach for all that si left to 'em, the printing press.
