"When we come calling on those who should have known better, those who could have done something and didn't, they cannot say they didn't know or didn't have the opportunity to find out."And 'come calling' we most certainly will - and it won't just be about the Carbon Plan, either!

For several years, I have written to Mr Osborne, my MP, about many issues that have caused me concern. In most cases I have had no response from him. However, I made contact with him for the sole purpose of being able to say, at some time in the future, that he can't say he didn't know. For now, that is about all we, the normal, can do. That, and keep a record of who is culpable and in need of punishment.
jic: Fear not, I have a little list (to quote G&S) - actually it is not so little!
Which is the object of JudasClass - which aims to increase it even more!
I downloaded the 220 page DECC "Carbon Plan". However, despite my best intentions, I only made it a tenth of the way through. As Booker says it's entirely based on the false premise that CO2 is evil, and so is a complete joke.
I have, somewhere, another large PDF produced by one of the environmental campaign groups, which set out in detail how we could get ALL our energy from renewable sources by 2050. This bit of pie in the sky was based on literally millions of solar panels, hundreds of thousands of turbines, and a massive Pan European grid to make it all work. It also relied on the Desertec project in North Africa. Since that region is now in political turmoil I don't think I need search my hard drive to find this file...
Us 'old uns are frequently made to fell guilty about the way our lifestyle is harming the planet for our children. All I can say to that is with people like Huhne calling the shots anything I do is utterly irrelevant in comparison...
md: Agreed and share your frustration. You cud of course enrol in talkconstitution.net and become involved in drafting a new constitution, limitation of government and operation of goverment?
