When I said I was not in the mood to write it was because, basically, I just felt p'd off, depressed and totally fed up with the state of our country. What I would like to have said has been said by Goodnight Vienna, Calling England.

Know how you feel WfW, feel like that a lot, especially regarding blogging. Keep plugging away chap - we're getting there
I'm with the Amphibian!
I can only sympathise. Things are so depressing in almost every aspect of public life at the moment. And as a daily blogger you cannot shut it out for a while like the rest of us. I can see why Cranmer had to retire hurt for many months after the 2010 election. But when things go faster and faster in a crescendo, as they are now, there is often some crash happening, often from some quite unexpected direction, that brings the whole juggernaut to a stop. Meanwhile one can laugh at the lunacy of it all.
It's depressing in every direction isn't it. Sense and morality are draining away from the elite by the minute.
But the sun will still rise in the morning and the world keeps turning, as long as that hapopens we can hope.
It's better out than in, Mr W!
TBF: Will do.....
Or: Thanks!
outsider: thanks for the sympathy....
W42: I know, I know........
GV: I could answer that in the opposite - but then you're a lady, so I wont! :)
