Greece

From the synopsis of Apocalypse Now:
"During the on-going Vietnam War, Captain Willard is sent on a dangerous mission into Cambodia to assassinate a renegade Green Beret who has set himself up as a God among a local tribe."
From 'Acropolis Now':
During the on-going EU war, the Greek people have sent themselves on a dangerous mission to overthrow a renegade EU Troika who have set themselves up as Gods among the local tribe."

Just saying.....................

Meanwhile senior EU figures appeal to the almighty to see them through this turbulent time!

Our pension which art in Brussels
Hallowed be Nick Clegg
thy acquis communautaire
thy edicts done
In Greece as they are in Berlin
Give us this day our daily bung
and forgive us our debt restructuring
as we castigate those who restructure against us
and lead us not into self governing democracies
but deliver us from Farage

For thine is the EU Commission
the Van and the Rompuy
ever closer and closer integration
Amen.

As for the rest of us. We can only hope and pray that UKIP will eventually get its proverbial s**t together and deliver us from evil.

And while Greeks are upgrading riots into what is becoming more like an arab style uprising - as shown om RT and Al Jazeera - the BBC news is live at the BAFTA awards, our politicians are on about women in boardrooms, whinging about Andrew Lansley, and prattling about press freedom and bankers bonuses.
Is there any hope?

TT: Bit stuck at the moment as fan on laptop busted and videos cause it to crash....... Will look when laptop replaced in a day or two.

W42: Saw those comments on twitter and in view of the above could not watch on RT. Typical BBC and Sky to concentrate on tat and ignore the real news.......
