You will be aware that I have and remain suspicious of all our political class. I have a vitriolic anger towards Labour and Brown for stealing 100k from my pension in 97 and 50k in the collapse of 07. As for The bloody EU, say no more.
So whatever the future holds, Cameron's stance this week was a welcome change. We should remain guarded but give credit where we can. I for one found the gesture, if that's all it is, still very enjoyable to witness.
As in all things only time will tell. If it is a line in the sand, it will be a valuable one.

Or: Unfortunately I still believe his decision has a great 'personal element' in it and also it needs to be recognised Cameron's lines in the sand tend to get washed away by his political opinions.......
