If defining the word "war", in the context of fighting terrorism, totalitarianism or any other oppressive doctrine in the name of democracy, it is accepted that "the means (whatever that may involve) justifies the ends", then I am amazed at the comments/criticisms on Twitter about Osama bin Laden not having received "due process of the law".
"War" comes down to one basic element: kill or be killed. It is most definitely applicable to the "war" on politicians, because either we "kill" them or, as sure as God made little apples, they intend to "kill" us - and I can assure politicians that, come the revolution, they will definitely not have recourse to "the due process of law"!

You've got my vote.
I haven't seen them but will take your word for it, Mr W. If it's true then those people need their heads examining. What due process of law would they like? I take it it's not the same due process he afforded others,
jic: thank you and knew I cud rely on you.......
GV: it was all over Twitter this morning early - too early for you late risers, possibly....... :)
I'm with you there, Mr W - assuming that war occurs where negotiations fail ...
I just knew you would be on board Fausty!
Its probably all the Lawyers who are moaning. Some of them would have made a fortune if Bin Laden had been taken alive.
Their next best thing will be to demand some form of enquiry, like the Bloody Sunday Enquiry, which might earn them Zillions in fees.
