The infamous 274 - Number 5

Enter stage middle, which being a Liberal Democrat means he is unable to differentiate twixt left and right, comes Danny Alexander.

Richard North, EU Referendum, posts on his "educational" and "work-experience" background so there is little more to add on those two points. Noting the power that Alexander has, Richard makes the natural comment that with that power comes responsibility.

Forgive me for repeating the point but one of the responsibilities that Alexander undertook to perform was to represent his constituents. In selling his principles and honour in return for an enhanced salary as a Secretary of State, Alexander is unable to peform that function as in any division in the House of Commons, Alexander must support the Government - even when that support is totally the opposite of the wishes of the majority of his electorate.

Couple that with the fact that we have a man amongst whose responsibilities include negotiating with departments about budget allocations, public sector pay, welfare reform, and procurement policy; a man with not one accountancy qualification to his name, in a position which is the third senior in the heirachy of government; is it then any wonder our nation is in a state of decay? Or, as a lyricist once wrote:
"From glen to glen, and down the mountain side The summer's gone, and all the flowers are dying.."

when ever I see something like this I am reminded of the quote by the Tub of Lard Roy Hattersley

“For most of my 33 years in Westminster, I was able to resist Sparkbrook’s demands about the great issues of national policy – otherwise, my first decade would have been spent opposing all Commonwealth immigration and my last calling for withdrawal from the European Union.”

This is the level of contempt he had for his constituents, those that got him that 33 years and a handsome pension and directorships.

This is the level of contempt that they have for all of us

Mr Hattersley is one of the most contemptible specimens that happens to have been spawned from this country's gene pool. His defective genes alone would serve to justify the practise of Eugenics.
