Anyone disagree?

From British Freedom, the following I have 'nicked' - or in polite 'blogger-speak - I am cross-posting.
"When I offered to write something for the British Freedom website spurred on by the excellent articles I had read, and the party’s ideas which are very much in tune with my own, I suddenly wondered what I could usefully contribute. In the past I have written to politicians outlining my intense displeasure with the state education system, mass immigration and the unfolding demographic disaster exacerbated by the corrosive effects of multiculturalism, and the plight of the working class, and all to not to much purpose, I might add. However, that said, I decided to share some thoughts with readers that I suspect are in keeping with those of many other people, especially of my age, who find it almost impossible to comprehend just how ugly this country has become in the space of a few short years, because in truth, it is anger that has brought me here, and to the British Freedom Party.
‘They have no idea how much I hate them’, a colleague told me a short while ago, and even I was slightly taken aback by the venom with which he said it. The ‘they’ in question, you will not be surprised to learn, were our ‘honourable’ politicians. His anger was directed at New Labour politicians in particular, and what he saw as their complete betrayal of people of this country. But as Paul Weston has written so convincingly in his essay, ‘How to Destroy a Country’, our fate as a people had been sealed a long time ago by politicians taking decisions that had no democratic legitimacy, and done so with utter contempt for the electorate. When politicians talk of President Assad’s attack on his ‘own people’, I often wonder if these traitors ever consider the consequences of their own insidious, downright evil attack on the English people, and do they realise just how easy they have made it to hate them?

And, it is of course, the English working class who have suffered the most from the Left’s rancid ideology. It is they who have seen their communities changed beyond recognition; it is they who have seen their wages plummet and working conditions eroded; it is they who have to fight for access to decent housing and schools for their children; it is they that are being screwed into the floor by big business, such as the energy companies; and it is they who are the most likely to be victims of crime, and exposed to cultural practices that are completely alien to this land, and which politicians were content to hide in the name of ‘social cohesion’.

Tim Mongomerie of ‘Conservative Home’ has written recently of Cameron’s mistake of not recruiting ‘gritty Northern candidates’ when modernising the Conservative Party, preferring instead women and ethnic minority candidates. I do not think this was a mistake at all, but deliberate policy. It was the working class who were going to bear the brunt of the changes wrought on this country, and most likely to be resistant to them. The last thing the political class wanted was working class representatives defending their interests. Blair’s New Labour intake was indicative of this strategy of exclusion, and it was continued by Cameron. It is to their credit that patriotic working class people have organised themselves because there was, and is, no sympathy from the political class who abandoned them. Indeed, I see more guts, honour and loyalty in the EDL than I do amongst the so called ‘political elite’. When Kevin Carroll said MPs should be ‘booted into the Thames’, I was inclined to agree with him. Actually, I would like to see the majority of MPs and Lords placed into a pod and launched into outer space never to be seen again, and we could do no better than start with Nick Clegg and the Liberal Democrats.
Peter Hitchens writing of mass immigration on his blog dated 12/11/11 states:‘The elite wish to pretend that they sympathise with us about the problem. But secretly they want to change the country for ever, and see mass immigration as the best way of doing this…One day, perhaps, those to blame for this disgrace will be punished. But I think it will by then be too late.'
Politicians are well aware of the failure of mass immigration and multiculturalism and still they do not deviate from their lunatic path. We have over a million youth unemployed, the numbers of women out of work it at its highest for twenty-three years, vast numbers of people in part-time work, and an economy that continues to stagnate, and we are asked to believe that this has nothing to do with mass immigration. And who do we have waiting in the wings to put all this right, Ed. ‘Hope over Fear’, Miliband, who stood at the heart of New Labour and announced recently, ‘we got it wrong on immigration’. It does not matter who resides in Downing Street from the Lib-Lab-Con, the great EU integration project will continue.

So, yes, it is anger that has brought me here, and it is an anger that has grown over time as I have watched and listened to deceitful, self-serving members and vicious ideologues of the political class destroy our country."
Personally, I find nothing offensive in the words written above - although, no doubt, our leftie-colleagues will - and they are words that I would suggest resonate with the majority of people in this country, whether they take an active interest in politics or not.

That we do have the means to change all this cannot be in doubt because all we have to say to our political class is: either you come with us, peacefully - or else.......

Unfortunately, methinks that at the end of the day it will take: 'or else' - which means that those who have taken a 'futures punt' on AK47s, piano wire and lamp posts are onto a 'winner'!

See, I'm not the only one saying it

From the letters section of today's Daily Telegraph:
"SIR – Your letters on the EU are really arguing for a revolution right now: dumping the Coalition Government, parking David Cameron in the Tower, and taking back power by the people.
I would be pleased to lead this movement if nobody else better qualified can be found – which should not be hard, since I am on the cusp of my 88th year and spend most of my time in my garden.

It is extremely easy to become disheartened

which accounts for the lack of posting today - and the reason for which is the shower of 'sh 1 ts' that have managed to get themselves elected to parliament.

Exhibit 1 is a report on Politics dot co dot uk which states that MPs and peers say they are deeply concerned over plans to give ministers "carte blanche" over the circumstances in which the authorities can enter people's homes. We have, so we are informed, a 'new breed' of MPs who were elected in 2010, especially amongst the Conservative Party, who are 'fired up about freedom and personal liberty. Yet where are the voices against the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 - surely the most pernicious act ever passed, other than the Legislative and Regulatory Reform Act - both of which are acts of parliament that in effect give 'carte blanche' to elected politicians for the imposition of a true totalitarian state.

Exhibit 2 is a report in the Financial Times that the newspaper has learnt that a proposed rail link, costing an estimated £5bn, twixt Heathrow and Gatwick is being seriously considered. I'm well aware some may consider that when an announcement, or hint of an announcement, by our puppet government is concerned, the first thing I do is to initially look for the 'EU involvement' - and I think that I may be forgiven for this. If one just trots over to the EU's Trans European Network - Transport (TEN-T) website it will quickly be seen that one of their aims is 'modal' - in other words 'tying up',or making the best use of,  existing transport networks to benefit the free movement of good, people and services. The alternative to this scheme would be an additional runway at Heathrow, something which the present Coalition has 'hit on the head', no doubt because they know damn well that it would be mired in legal challenges and protests so what better than a new rail line? Yet another example of the puppet government forestalling that which is to come - and who is to say that 'conversations' have not already been held on this?

That the 'divide' twixt those supposedly elected to represent the people's interests and the people is best illustrated by this post by Brendan O'Neill on Spiked. As Brendan states, of all the problems we as a nation face, what excited both the media and the Conservative conference was the fact that a 'fat tax' might be introduced and the subject of 'gay' marriage was considered 'important'. Is this the nadir to which our politics has sunk? Possibly, returning to another well-worn question, when considering Articles 4, 5 & 6 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU), is there any major aspect of governance that our puppet government has left in which to decide policy? Actually, on second thoughts, they are only paving the way on gay marriages, so as to negate any legal challenges under 'human rights'.

Just these two examples illustrate that we are beholden to the requirements of a foreign power, namely Brussels. The history of our nation is marked by those who have given their lives to progress the freedom of our country, whether they be 'martyrs', or those who have given their lives fighting for all that this country has stood, over the centuries. There are those amongst us who believe that the avenues of democracy should be used to overthrow the present state of our democracy - a similar view to those who believe that the EU and the Conservative Party can be changed from within - and that is something which is pure 'hogwash'. Has not history shown that to overthrow a pernicious state of affairs there is only one course of action, namely 'direct action? Next year, having reached the start of my 70th decade, I have lived my life - such as it has been - and for the benefit of future generations, I am quite prepared to become yet another martyr in our history.

Anyone with me.........?

Sooner or later........

"Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable."
John F. Kennedy

Gioodnight Vienna, Calling England, posts about the EU wanting to impose their own idea of a justice system and links to an article by Alex Singleton. This is a subject to which I posted here and in reply to a comment Goodnight Vienna writes: "Unfortunately, that means that when the fight comes, as it will, it will be so much bloodier".

Regular readers will know that for some time now I have maintained that the MSM is in the pocket of our politicians because the MSM dare not write or broadcast anything too critical as their access to 'news' would be curtailed; and that likewise the politicians are in the pocket of the MSM because they rely on the MSM to spread their lies and propoganda. Within such a cosy scenario it is virtually impossible for any other party, other than the Lib/Lab/Con, to get their message out as it is never reported in depth. As anyone who studies world events will know such a scenario is the practise of totalitarian regimes and I have to ask what the difference is between those totalitarian regimes and that under which we presently live.

It has also been my contention that, due to the foregoing and the present disinterest of the general public, when change does come - because one day the public will wake up - it will come from a rebellion and whether this rebellion is one of armed insurrection or a 'mass taking to the streets' by the people, matters not - either way it will be messy and blood will be spilt. Arguments are made against this scenario and those making the arguements cite that whilst in the words of Old Holborn "there are 60million of us and only 650 of them", the police and army may be called out to maintain what is termed "law and order". The idea that the police and army would open fire on their own people is one that I believe is ludicrous in the extreme. It is also logical to assume that we don't need 60 million, all it would take is 1/2 million, well organised and sincere individuals to rebel.

To remind readers of an old adage: the proof of the pudding is in the eating.

That pudding is in the process of being baked and sooner or later it is going to be taken out of the oven!

Afterthought: There are also those who maintain that the present political elite and their bureaucratic back-up can be brought down by individual awkwardness. That may be true and were one million say to fail to pay their council tax it is accepted that they can hardly imprison that number if those refuseniks did, but they would need to refuse at one and the same time. Coupled with which the authorities would just stagger the cases so that the effect on our prisons was negated. No, the rebellion will come en-masse and it will be bloody!

Revolution should be compulsory (perhaps)

"Any people anywhere, being inclined and having the power, have the right to rise up and shake off the existing government and form a new one that suits them better......"
Abraham Lincoln 12th January 1848
"Democracy has proved only that the best way to gain power over people is to assure the people that they are ruling themselves. Once they believe that, they make wonderfully submissive slaves."
Joseph Sobran - The Myth of 'Limited Government'
Richard North, EU Referendum, writes that politics no longer matters when it has no relevance and bears no further analysis; that the politicians of today are no longer 'of us' and that as a consequence they have nothing in common with us nor we with them.

That is so very, very true, borne out by the fact that Cameron has stated only today lunchtime that he listened to the public about the sale of forests and reversed the policy. It makes a good headline for him, yet masks the dictatorial attitude he has in respect of so much of his politics. It is a great pity that he does not listen to the British public when they complain about foreign aid and this country's membership of the EU. That money alone would go a long way to ensuring that our elderly and vulnerable received the level of care to which they are entitled.

We are assured by Cameron that he intends creating a smaller state by devolving power to the people, yet as the Localism Bill and Freedom Bill demonstrates, the devolution of power - and freedoms being returned - to the people is no more than a sham exercise in public relations. As Ian Parker-Joseph demonstrated yesterday, here, the idea of a new Bill of Rights is but another sham exercise in public relations whereby our system of Common Law can be buried for ever. In fact with Cameron, as with the present politicians of Red or Yellow persuasion, what is offered is the illusion of 'people power' when in actual fact, the result is the exact opposite.

So, paraphrasing P.J. O'Rourke, when considering politics in this country it is obvious that Labour are the party that that says government will make you smarter, taller, richer - and that you don't actually have to work to achieve that. The Conservatives and Liberal Democrats are both parties that say government doesn't work, get elected and promptly prove it.

I have just read a book, published by Big Brother Watch, "The state of civil liberties in modern Britain" in which various politicians and writers contribute chapters and from that written by David Davis I quote:
"Indeed the British people, as we all know, are terribly casual about liberty. They treat it carelessly, like a very old suit of clothes that they have had for a very long time. Because, that is precisely what it is. Only when under visible threat do they react. Then they come out and are willing to die in their hundreds of thousands to defend it. But to get the British people to react, we have to make the threat obvious and clear."
If our politicians were men and women of principle and honour they would be doing just that - making the threat obvious and clear. They would be doing so in plain English, instead of talking in riddles or what may be termed 'politic-speak'. They won't do that of course as they prefer to keep those they are supposed to represent in perpetual slavery.

It is increasingly clear to me - and it would appear to others in the blogosphere - that the only way the status of our country can be restored to its former glory is by means of a 'people's revolution'. Having removed the detritus that presently inhabits Westminster - and our local authorities etc - is to then instil the ideas of this man into the heads of their replacements. As a foretaste and to ensure you do read the link, allow me to provide two extracts:
"When we started this process with the Department of Transportation, it had 5,600 employees. When we finished, it had 53. When we started with the Forest Service, it had 17,000 employees. When we finished, it had 17. When we applied it to the Ministry of Works, it had 28,000 employees. I used to be Minister of Works, and ended up being the only employee...........We achieved an overall reduction of 66 percent in the size of government, measured by the number of employees. The government’s share of GDP dropped from 44 to 27 percent. We were now running surpluses, and we established a policy never to leave dollars on the table: We knew that if we didn’t get rid of this money, some clown would spend it. So we used most of the surplus to pay off debt, and debt went from 63 percent down to 17 percent of GDP. We used the remainder of the surplus each year for tax relief. We reduced income tax rates by half and eliminated incidental taxes. As a result of these policies, revenue increased by 20 percent. Yes, Ronald Reagan was right: lower tax rates do produce more revenue."
If only we were not shackled to a political ideology that is foreign to our nature; that we were, once again, a self-governing nation; that we had politicians of principle and honour, ones with a basic grasp of economics; that we had a people who were proud of their country; who believed in liberty and freedom..........

Oh well, never mind.
